About this event
It’s an easy sail, row, paddle or motor from Squalicum Harbor to the Taylor Dock in Fairhaven, and you can drift, anchor or raft up to other boats flying the CYC burgee. Or you can rent a kayak, row boat or stand-up paddle board from the Boating Center.
Show CYC support for the Schooner Zodiac and the Community Boating Center and enjoy the music from Rubatano Marimba. The band will be aboard the Zodiac and will play from 6-7 pm.
Notes
• See concert map below for anchorage area.
• CBC will be monitoring VHF Channel 71.
• A $10 donation per CYC boat to the Boating Center is suggested.
• This event will be cancelled with sustained winds over 12 mph or heavy rain.
• An extra bonus: there will be a near-full Super Blue Moon, rising at 7:54 pm, just four minutes before sunset at 7:58 pm. Also note that the high tide is at 5:57 pm on August 29.
